UHMW-PE material wear strips shall be attached to the floor rails and return tracks. Wear strips shall be 3/8" x 2 5/8" UHMW-PE material. Hardware for attaching wear strips to concrete floor shall consist of plastic inserts, flat washers, and pan head screws. Hardware for attaching wear strips to steel floor rails shall consist of spot weld washer. Hardware for attaching wear strips to return tracks shall be either spot weld washers or machine screws secured by flat washer and self locking nylon insert type nuts. All metallic wearstrip hardware shall be stainless steel.
