NRG's
NM720-CS Non-metalic Collector Chain is ideal for the harsh, unpredictable
conditions found in sewage treatment plants. It is precision molded
from glass reinforced polyester that resists elongation, wear
and corrosion like no other thermoplastic.
During the injection molding process, the unique thin walled design
of the chain mold ensures glass fiber alignment, keeping each link
linearly strong and lightweight (1/5th the wt. of metal chain).
Without any special tools, the NM720-CS chain can be easily assembled
with a rubber mallet, as snap type T-head nylon pins fit snuggly in
the barrel, preventing rotation and keeping grit out. NRG's NM720-CS
chain lasts twice as long, is easier to maintain and install, and
is much more energy efficient than metal 720 series chains. Available
with our special "Grit Slayer" Teflon impregnated
pins for tank conditions where sand and grit are prevalent. |
